Orpington Montessori preschool is accredited by the Montessori Examination and Accreditation Board (MEAB), and is one of only two accredited preschools in Orpington. We run our own holiday club to provide nursery style all year round childcare. The preschool is located in central Orpington, near the war memorial roundabout. We are a small preschool with an average of 30 children. We take children from two years old. We run our own Forest School with the teachers and children of Rushmore House Montessori preschool.

We are one of only two accredited Montessori preschools in Orpington. The Montessori Evaluation and Accreditation Board (MEAB) gave us accreditation status in 2015. We were successfully re-accredited in 2019.

Because we have our own Holiday Club we can provide nursery style all year round childcare. Your child will be cared for with surroundings and teachers they know. Since our Holiday Club is pay-as-you-go, you do not have to pay nursery fees when you go on holiday. We also do not charge for bank holidays, or Christmas, when we are closed. Our holiday club uses the Rushmore House Montessori preschool premises.

We have our own Forest School which we run with the teachers and children from Rushmore House Montessori preschool. Every Wednesday you can drop your child at Rushmore House in Pratts Bottom, Orpington. The children and teachers walk to the nearby Birthday Wood. On the way we feed the goats and say hello to the horses who have got to know us.

At Orpington Montessori preschool we use an extended curriculum covering both Montessori and EYFS activities. The curriculum consists of seven learning areas. Children are gradually introduced to the activities in each area. These learning areas are:
